About Me
My name is Lukas Wisner, and I’m a portrait and still life photographer based in Southern California. I’m a proud Northern Arizona University alumnus, holding a B.S. in Photography with minors in Advertising and Photojournalism. My passion for photography began in 7th grade when I got my first DSLR and dreamed of exploring the world, documenting wildlife in its natural habitat. At the time, I envisioned myself photographing endangered species—capturing their beauty and raising awareness as climate change and environmental challenges threatened their survival.
In the early years, I was set on becoming a photojournalist. My experience working on the yearbook and my admiration for National Geographic only fueled that ambition. However, during my time at NAU, advanced courses introduced me to more innovative and artistic sides of photography. I became captivated by studio work—exploring lighting, composition, and techniques that gave me greater creative freedom.
Today, my focus lies in portrait and still life photography, where I merge technical precision with imagination. These specialties have inspired me to pursue fashion and product photography professionally, blending contemporary aesthetics with a progressive yet practical style that tells a visual story in every frame.
